The "National Briefing on the Three Major Megaprojects for Korea's Great Leap Forward" was held at the Blue House, attended by President Lee Jae-myung, government ministers, and corporate leaders including Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and SK Chairman Chey Tae-won.
President Lee stated that the core task for creating an "irreplaceable Republic of Korea" is to leap forward as a global industrial powerhouse, identifying investments in the three major projects—semiconductors, AI, and data centers—as top priorities.

A blueprint was also presented to build a physical AI cluster, including robotics, in Saemangeum, North Jeolla Province, led by Hyundai Motor, and to invest a total of over 1,000 trillion won by 2035, centered around SK, to build AI data centers across the country.
[Chey Tae-won / SK Chairman: We are planning approximately 1,000 trillion won for the AI data center project and about 1,100 trillion won for the semiconductor supply expansion project.]
President Lee held hands with Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Chairman Chey Tae-won, praising them as "national heroes and heroes of the people."
He also promised to place a direct supervisor at the Blue House to personally oversee the investment plans for these projects.
