At approximately 6:20 a.m. today (June 29), a 5-ton cargo truck struck a facility at the entrance of a Hi-Pass lane and overturned at the Guri-Namyangju Tollgate on the Seoul Ring Expressway in the direction of Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.

As a result of the accident, the driver, a man in his 60s identified as A, sustained injuries to his leg and other areas and was transported to a hospital.

Following the accident, some lanes at the tollgate were closed for approximately two hours to facilitate vehicle towing operations, leading to traffic congestion during the morning commute.
