A truck collision occurred in Nowon-gu, Seoul, early this morning, prompting emergency response efforts.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. today (June 29), authorities received reports of a major traffic accident involving trucks at the Hwarangdae Intersection in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

As of now, it has been confirmed that two people were injured and transported to a hospital.

The accident caused traffic congestion during the morning commute as the area was cordoned off.

Nowon-gu issued an emergency alert, stating, "Traffic is currently restricted from Hwarangdae Intersection toward Guri," and advised drivers to "please take alternative routes when passing through this area."

Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident once cleanup operations are completed.
