A 5.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in the inland Sichuan province of western China at 12:12 a.m. today (June 29), according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.
The epicenter was located at 28.64 degrees north latitude and 104.75 degrees east longitude, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
