The defense ministers of South Korea and Japan held talks at the Ministry of National Defense in Seoul today (June 28) and agreed to further develop cooperation in exchanges between their air force aerobatic teams and in naval search and rescue exercises.
While the two sides reached a consensus on continuing South Korea-Japan and South Korea-U.S.-Japan cooperation, it is understood that the issue of signing a bilateral Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA), which has been requested by the Japanese side, was not discussed as an official agenda item.
