Around 2:00 p.m. today (June 28), a report was made to 119 stating that two children had been struck by a passenger car at an apartment complex in Jigok-myeon, Seosan, South Chungcheong Province.

Fire authorities rescued the two eight-year-old elementary school students and transported them to a nearby hospital.

One child was transported in a state of cardiac arrest, and the other is reported to have sustained serious injuries.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
