A van crossed over a median and collided with a bus near Seodaemun Station in Seoul, leaving 15 people injured. In Busan, a fire at a high-rise apartment complex resulted in the death of a man in his 60s.

Smoke rises from the front seat of the damaged van as two citizens attempt to rescue the driver by opening the door to check inside the vehicle.
At approximately 8:10 p.m. yesterday (June 26), a white van crossed over the median near Seodaemun Station in Seoul and crashed into a city bus in the opposite lane.
[Jung Jae-woo/Witness: I heard a loud thud and looked over. The van was slowly crossing over the central guardrail, and as it did, it slammed into a bus that was coming from the other direction.]
The driver of the van, a woman in her 60s, was transported to a hospital complaining of abdominal pain, while the bus driver and 14 passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe.
The police plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident after checking the van driver for alcohol or drug impairment.

At 5:00 p.m. yesterday, a fire broke out on the 23rd floor of an apartment building in Saha-gu, Busan.
Fire authorities, dispatched after receiving reports of black smoke, extinguished the blaze about an hour later.
A man in his 60s was found having fallen onto the apartment complex's flower bed and was rushed to a hospital, but he eventually passed away.

Around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, a fire also occurred at a commercial building in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province.
The flames were brought under control within an hour, and fortunately, there were no casualties.
Fire authorities suspect the fire started from a cigarette butt and are investigating the exact cause of the incident.
