'Shout it Out,' the Song That Kept 'Love is' at No. 2 for 39 Weeks… The 'Metallic' Vibe of 'Wild Thing'

The movie 'Wild Thing' has officially released the full version of the 'Triangle' performance from the post-credits scene that has been drawing a passionate response from audiences.

'Wild Thing' is a comedy film about 'Triangle,' a three-member co-ed dance group that once dominated the music scene but disbanded overnight due to an unexpected incident, as they take on a reckless challenge to seize a chance at a comeback 20 years later.

The newly released video is the full version of the encore performance for 'Shout it Out,' the title track of Triangle's second album, which appears in the second post-credits scene. The song had previously only appeared briefly in the main film, piquing the curiosity of viewers.

In stark contrast to the refreshing charm of their debut song 'Love is,' 'Shout it Out' is a hybrid dance track with a Y2K 'metallic' vibe, featuring heavy turn-of-the-millennium sounds and direct social criticism regarding environmental issues. The unconventional visuals, reminiscent of cyber warriors, and the addictive performance captivate the eyes of viewers.

The song adds a layer of humor as it wins first place on a music show upon the group's comeback, handing the legendary record of 39 consecutive weeks at No. 2 to the 'Prince of Ballads,' Choi Seong-gon (played by Oh Jung-se).

The released video captures the members of Triangle basking in the joy of their first-place win. Leader Hyun-woo (Kang Dong-won) perfectly executes dance, vocals, and rap; Sang-gu (Um Tae-goo) leaves a strong impression with his brief but intense rapping; and Do-mi (Park Ji-hyun) dominates the stage, showing her true colors as the center of the group, creating fantastic synergy. The enthusiastic cheers and support from the 'Red-Green-Blue Corps' (Triangle's official fandom) filling the audience add to the immersion, making it feel like a real music show performance.

'Wild Thing' was released on June 3 and surpassed 1 million viewers nationwide in 18 days.
