Actor So Ji-sub has transformed into a father who throws himself into danger to save his daughter in the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama, 'Manager Kim.'

So Ji-sub remarked that although the action sequences were highly difficult, he fought with a desperate intensity.

'Manager Kim,' which premieres today (June 26), is a revenge action drama about the world's most ordinary father who becomes the world's most dangerous man to get his only daughter back.

So Ji-sub plays the role of Manager Kim, an ordinary bank employee and father to Min-ji, who is a former special agent.

He shared that he decided to take on the role because he felt that portraying a father's emotions would be a significant challenge for him.

However, he noted that it was not easy due to the high level of difficulty in the action scenes.

He explained that while he has previously performed action scenes where he risked his life, this time he is performing desperate action sequences driven by the desire to live with his daughter.
