San Francisco's Lee Jung-hoo, who cheered for the national soccer team by shouting "Republic of Korea" during his home run celebration yesterday (June 24), showed his support today by wearing the national team jersey during batting practice. Although the national soccer team lost, Lee led his team to a walk-off comeback victory with a multi-hit game and an incredible defensive play.

Lee appeared at batting practice today wearing the red national team jersey with Son Heung-min's name and number on the back, showing his solidarity with the team.

He continued his excellent hitting form in his first at-bat in the second inning against the Athletics, hitting a double that bounced off the right-field wall.

In his second at-bat in the fifth inning, Lee hit a 160 km/h (99 mph) bullet, but it went straight to a fielder. He made up for it in the seventh inning with an infield hit on a deep ball toward second base, completing a multi-hit game and raising his season batting average to .333.

Lee played an even more decisive role on defense.

Trailing 1-0 in the top of the ninth inning with two outs and runners on first and second, he made a crucial defensive play, crashing into the wall to catch a long fly ball.

After escaping the crisis thanks to Lee's "super catch," San Francisco secured a dramatic 2-1 comeback win following Devers' game-tying solo home run in the bottom of the ninth and Bericoto's walk-off solo shot.

Lee jumped for joy, savoring the victory with his teammates.
