Authorities are working to verify reports of a gas leak at SK Specialty, a manufacturer of specialty gases for semiconductors located in Yeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.

Relevant authorities stated that they received reports of a chemical gas leak occurring at the SK Specialty facility at approximately 8:20 p.m. today (June 25).

In response, the city of Yeongju and other agencies are currently investigating the details to confirm the facts.

SK Specialty also stated, "We are currently checking the situation."
