Singer Kim Gun-mo is set to resume his musical career with the release of a new song, marking his first comeback in 10 years.
Kim Gun-mo will release his new single, "Where Are You Going," on July 1 at 6:00 PM. This marks his first new music release in approximately a decade, following his 25th-anniversary album "50," which was released in 2016.
The new track, "Where Are You Going," is a remake of the song of the same name originally released by singer Jeon Young in 1977. Notably, Kim Gun-mo attempts a new musical transformation in this track by playing the guitar himself for the first time since his debut.

This new single also carries the significance of continuing the momentum from his recently concluded national tour.
Kim Gun-mo wrapped up his "25-26 Kim Gun-mo Live Tour," which began last September, with a final performance at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on March 21. Having sold out every show from the opening concert in Busan to the finale in Seoul, he proved his enduring ticket power despite his six-year hiatus.
Previously, he had suspended his activities following sexual assault allegations raised in an indiscriminate manner by the YouTube channel "Hover Lab." However, the prosecution cleared him of all charges in 2021, and the case was officially closed after a subsequent appeal also resulted in a non-indictment decision.
