Five additional South Korean vessels that had been stranded inside the Strait of Hormuz have successfully passed through the strait.
There are 21 South Korean crew members on board these vessels.
Of the five ships, one is heading to South Korea, while the other four are bound for different countries.
With the passage of these five additional ships, the number of South Korean vessels remaining inside the Strait of Hormuz has decreased to 13.
The total number of South Korean crew members currently within the strait is 87, including 33 who are serving on foreign-flagged vessels.
