A man in his 70s has died after falling into the water at a fishing spot in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.

A report was received at approximately 3:20 p.m. yesterday (June 23) that a man in his 70s, identified as A, had fallen into the water at a fishing site in Wabu-eup, Namyangju.

A was transported to a hospital while receiving CPR in a state of cardiac arrest, but he eventually passed away.

The police believe that A accidentally slipped and fell into the water while fishing with acquaintances, and have determined that there are no signs of foul play.
