Police have launched an investigation following a report that teenage sisters were sexually assaulted by their private tutor.

The Bucheon Wonmi Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that it has booked a man in his 40s, identified as A, on charges including quasi-rape and is currently investigating the case.

A is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage sisters who were his students at a home in Bucheon recently.

After receiving a report from a guardian, police arrived at the scene to collect evidence and are questioning A to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.

A police official stated, "As the investigation is ongoing and to protect the victims, we cannot confirm specific details."
