Singer Parc Jae-jung is recruiting his first official fan club, 13 years after his debut. However, the fandom name, which was recently changed following a controversy, will be announced after the recruitment period.
Starting at 3:00 PM on the 22nd, Parc Jae-jung will begin recruiting for the 1st generation of his official fan club through the Mnet Plus fan community platform, 'Plus Chat.'
This recruitment is significant as it marks the first official fan club Parc Jae-jung has launched since his debut. Along with the fan club, he will also open a dedicated fan communication platform for the first time, aiming to connect with his fans on a more personal level.
In particular, Parc Jae-jung recently made headlines by announcing that he would communicate with fans using 'banmal' (informal speech) for the first time since his debut. This is interpreted as his desire to connect with fans in a more approachable way, moving away from his usual calm and serious image.
Additionally, a special mini-concert will be held on July 26 to commemorate the opening of the platform. In this performance, which will feature just a piano, Parc Jae-jung plans to spend special time with his fans in an intimate setting.
However, Parc Jae-jung will not be using the fandom name 'Namu' (Tree). Previously, his agency announced 'Namu' as the official fandom name, but some fans pointed out that it was too similar to 'Soul Tree,' the official fan club of singer Park Hyo-shin.
Recruitment for the 1st generation of Parc Jae-jung's official fan club will take place via Plus Chat from 3:00 PM today until 11:59 PM on July 5, and the new fandom name will be revealed at a later date.
