MEOVV Shares Hilarious Story of Unexpected Elevator Encounter with Park Bo-gum

Girl group MEOVV appeared on a radio show, sharing behind-the-scenes stories of their new album along with special episodes involving their agency senior Park Bo-gum and aespa's KARINA.

On June 16, MEOVV appeared as guests on SBS Power FM's "WENDY's Young Street" and shared various stories. MEOVV released their new EP "BITE NOW" on June 1 and has been actively promoting their title track "DDI RO RI."

During the broadcast, when WENDY asked about the preparation process for the new album, MEOVV showed their extraordinary passion and determination, saying, "Even during practice, all the members' eyes were burning with fire. Looking at those eyes, I could feel that everyone was putting their lives on the line." When a listener asked about their first impression of the title track, they showed off their witty humor, replying, "When we first recorded it, we wondered, 'Is this right?' But as we kept singing it, before we knew it, we all got 'Ddi-fied' by it."

In particular, they candidly addressed the rumors about a deleted part in "DDI RO RI," which has recently been a hot topic online and offline. When WENDY asked, "Is today the last time you'll perform this live?" the members left a mysterious impression by saying, "It might not be the last." WENDY then playfully responded, "Are you playing hard to get right now?" drawing laughter from the listeners.

Their unexpected stories with agency seniors also caught attention. When asked if there was a senior artist they wanted to meet, MEOVV expressed their wish, saying, "We want to have a company dinner with all the artists in our agency." They then recalled their memorable first encounter with actor Park Bo-gum. The members shared their dizzying memory of the moment, saying, "We rarely run into our agency seniors, but we once ran into 'Oppa-Sunbaenim' Park Bo-gum in the company elevator. He was perfectly styled, but we weren't, so we were very flustered." Regarding the unique title "Oppa-Sunbaenim," they explained that they came up with it as a compromise because the word "Sunbaenim" (senior) felt too distant.

Additionally, member GAWON added warmth by boasting about her global friendship with aespa's KARINA, who belongs to a different agency. GAWON, who met KARINA at a fashion show in Milan, proved her extraordinary social skills by sharing, "KARINA sunbaenim recommended a delicious Chinese restaurant in Milan," and added, "We promised to go there together someday."
