The Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), a business organization, is working with a Cambodian government investment delegation to expand the presence of Incheon-based companies in Cambodia and strengthen economic cooperation between the two nations.

The ICCI announced that it held the "2026 Incheon-Cambodia Investment Seminar" at the Sheraton Grand Incheon Hotel yesterday (June 16), alongside the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and a Cambodian government investment delegation.

The event was organized to introduce Cambodia's investment environment and promising industries to domestic companies, and to expand practical business collaboration opportunities between Incheon firms and the Cambodian government and business community.

The event was attended by Park Joo-bong, Chairman of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, along with approximately 200 representatives from domestic companies and about 20 delegates from the Cambodian government and business sector.

The program included presentations on successful investment cases in Cambodia, an overview of the country's investment climate, a Q&A session, and time for networking.

Prior to the event, the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (KoCham) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote mutual cooperation.

The MOU includes provisions for facilitating online and offline trade of goods between member companies of both organizations, providing support and cooperation for local activities during mutual visits by trade delegations, and assisting companies in entering the local market and establishing trade offices or representative offices.

Park Joo-bong, Chairman of the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Amid recent global supply chain restructuring and changes in the international landscape, many companies are seeking new growth hubs and investment destinations. Cambodia is a promising market that is growing rapidly based on stable economic growth and proactive investment attraction policies."

He added, "The Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry has dispatched three economic delegations to Cambodia this year to directly assess the local investment environment and industrial sites. I hope this investment seminar serves as a meaningful opportunity for Incheon companies to gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia's investment environment and support systems, and to explore practical investment and cooperation plans."

The Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to continue its efforts to expand exchanges between companies of both countries and strengthen economic cooperation by working closely with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).
