ILLIT WONHEE Reveals She Was Street-Casted While Visiting Seoul from Changwon as a Freshman in High School

WONHEE shared the story of how she was scouted.

On the June 15th broadcast of SBS's 'uh, but like, seriously!', girl group ILLIT visited Su-ji's boarding house.

Boom, who joined as a special MC for the day, introduced ILLIT's WONHEE, saying, "She is from Changwon. She is a classic example of being street-casted. I heard she was scouted while visiting the Express Bus Terminal."

WONHEE explained, "I came alone when I was a freshman in high school and got scouted. At first, I didn't believe it. So I asked for a business card, but they only asked for my phone number, which made me suspicious."

Shin Bong-sun, who appeared in place of Lee Soo-ji that day, asked, "Why did you come to the Express Bus Terminal?" WONHEE replied, "To see the sights of Seoul," drawing laughter.

When Shin Bong-sun asked if she had always wanted to be a singer, WONHEE replied in her regional dialect, "It was one of many dreams, but when the opportunity came, I thought, 'Let's give it a try,'" which caught everyone's attention.

Shin Bong-sun then marveled at WONHEE's visuals, saying, "It's no wonder you were street-casted. You are so pretty."
