Ahead of the 11th episode airing on the 12th, the production team of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "My Royal Nemesis" (written by Kang Hyun-ju, directed by Han Tae-seop and Kim Hyun-woo) released stills capturing the desperate moment Cha Se-gye (played by Heo Nam-jun) is taken to a police interrogation room, hinting at an unpredictable turn of events.

"My Royal Nemesis" is a war-like romantic comedy about Shin Seo-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the soul of a notorious Joseon-era villain, and Cha Se-gye, a vicious conglomerate heir dubbed a "monster of capitalism." The show has maintained the No. 1 spot in integrated TV-OTT buzz rankings for three consecutive weeks and has soared to No. 2 on the Netflix Global Top 10 list for non-English TV shows, continuing its unrivaled global success.

In the previous episode, the conflict between Cha Se-gye and Choi Moon-do (played by Jang Seung-jo) over the succession of the Cha-il Group intensified. In particular, Choi Moon-do threatened those around Shin Seo-ri to provoke Cha Se-gye, eventually leading to a truck accident involving Shin Seo-ri and Dal-su, pushing the tension to its peak.

Amidst this, the newly released stills show Cha Se-gye sitting across from a detective in a dark interrogation room, shocking viewers. This is the result of falling into a trap set by Choi Moon-do, who has stopped hiding his true colors and begun to run wild. Known for committing outrageous acts such as deepfake power abuse controversies, hit-and-run rumors, and drug tampering, Choi Moon-do has reportedly orchestrated a massive scheme to deal a fatal blow to Cha Se-gye’s company.

Cha Se-gye’s cold, furious gaze at the detective in the interrogation room creates suffocating tension. Another still captures Cha Se-gye sprinting desperately toward an unknown destination, as if sensing that something has gone terribly wrong, further fueling curiosity about what exactly has happened to him.

How will Cha Se-gye overcome this dire crisis caused by Choi Moon-do’s onslaught? The answer will be revealed in episode 11 of "My Royal Nemesis," airing tonight (the 12th) at 9:50 PM.
