Weathercaster Continues Live Broadcast Despite Studio Fire: Here Is Why

A local weathercaster in the United States has drawn attention for continuing a tornado warning broadcast without evacuating, even after a fire broke out in the studio during a live segment.

The reason Simmons did not put down the microphone or flee despite the fire was due to the severe weather conditions in the region at the time.

During the broadcast, he explained to viewers, "We have a fire in the studio, but we have two tornado warnings in effect, so I cannot stop the live tracking."
