Lee Seung-chul couldn’t stop praising Park Bo-gum.

On the Oct. 26 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," the veteran singer opened up about his affection for the star.

During the broadcast, co-host Seo Jang-hoon joked that Lee is as smitten with Park as he is with his own son-in-law. The show then rolled a clip of Lee gazing adoringly at Park as he sang, drawing laughs and cheers.

"Park Bo-gum appeared in my music video. After we wrapped, we grabbed a drink and he said he plays piano. I told him, ‘If you accompany me while I sing, it’ll be huge’―and when we actually performed together on TV, it was a hit," Lee said, explaining why he can’t help but adore the actor.

He continued, "What I love about Park Bo-gum is that there’s nothing he lacks, and yet he never holds back with people. He’s almost unreal. This Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), he texted me―not a mass message, a personal one. And he doesn’t just do that with me; he sends thoughtful texts to so many people he knows."

Shin Dong-yup added, "I’ve been with him at the Baeksang Arts Awards for years, and every time we meet he brings gifts and takes great care of everyone around him."

Lee also shared, "Park Bo-gum was my ideal son-in-law. Our actual son-in-law has a similar vibe―tall, calm, kind. What really impressed me was that he only owns three pairs of shoes. He’s that modest and frugal."

And if he had to invite just one―Park or his son-in-law―to his concert? Lee didn’t hesitate. "Be serious―it’s Park Bo-gum, no question. If I invite Park, my son-in-law will love it. He’ll come watch," he joked.
