Ji-ae, a member of disbanded girl group WA$$UP, celebrated her 1st anniversary with her non-celebrity girlfriend.
On February 7, Ji-ae shared several photos on her Instagram with the caption, "1 year ♥ You told me not to expect anything for our anniversary, but you surprised me with a check and roses! You always manage to surprise me. I love you, I love Yerin ♥"
In the photos, Ji-ae and her girlfriend are seen joyfully celebrating their anniversary.
Ji-ae is holding the bouquet of roses from her girlfriend while taking a selfie, and they are also shown enjoying a meal together at a fancy restaurant.
Along with the anniversary cake, the bouquet features a heart-shaped balloon that reads, "Thank you for our unforgettable 1st anniversary ♥," with a check tucked into the roses.
There is also a heartfelt handwritten letter from her girlfriend that read, "I've never felt this way before. I promise I'll love you forever."

Ji-ae debuted as the main vocalist of WA$$UP in 2013 and appeared on KBS' "The Unit: Idol Rebooting Project" in 2017.
It was in 2021 when Ji-ae came out as bisexual, saying, "I love both men and women. I have an amazing girlfriend, and I'm so happy."
Last year, during an appearance on Channel S' "Sisters Attack," she opened up about her past relationships, saying, "I dated quite a lot of guys until I was 25, but none of those relationships lasted more than 3 months. It always felt like something was missing, and I kept thinking, 'Maybe I'm a person who isn't able to love anyone.' But then, I started dating women and I felt love."
