Singer Kim Jong-kook revealed a hilarious reason why he could not pay for JIMIN of K-pop boy group BTS' meal when he bumped into him in Los Angeles. 

On October 13, Kim Jong-kook uploaded a new video on his YouTube channel. 

In the video, girl group LE SSERAFIM was seen visiting Kim Jong-kook's home to learn how to work out and have a talk with him. 

While waiting for LE SSERAFIM, the production team mentioned the fact about a lot of HYBE Labels' artists featuring in his videos. 

They said, "From fromis_9 and TOMORROW X TOGETHER to LE SSERAFIM, that's a lot of HYBE Labels' artists on your channel, Jong-kook." 

Kim Jong-kook jokingly responded, "Why is that? Well, I guess we only have BTS to go now. It's about time they join me. Even Jae Seok joined me the other day, so..." 
One member of the production team asked, "Didn't you say that you bumped into JIMIN in the States?" 

Kim Jong-kook answered, "Ah yes. I did, I did. I happened to meet him on the Rodeo Drive in L.A. I was wandering around the area with my manager and he was having a meal there." 

He continued, "Actually, I didn't know that he was there at first. My manager recognized him and told me about it. He was like, 'Let's just go. He would feel uncomfortable if you said hi to him.', but I insisted on going up to him and saying hello." 

He added, "JIMIN was really kind. He messaged me on Instagram later that day, saying that he felt bad he wasn't able to properly say hi since our meeting was too short. I felt thankful for that. I'll always be rooting for you, JIMIN!" 

Then, Kim Jong-kook suddenly laughed and stated, "Usually though, I would for their meals when I meet hoobaes outside work, but I couldn't do that for JIMIN, if you get what I mean."
