Suwon District Court is holding a hearing today to decide whether to issue a pretrial arrest warrant for singer/actor Park Yu Chun over accusations of drug use. 

On April 26 at 2:30PM KST, Park Yu Chun appeared at the local court to attend the hearing.
Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency has requested an arrest warrant for Park Yu Chun after the National Forensic Service detected methamphetamine from his body hair early this week.

According to police, Park Yu Chun faces allegations of purchasing 1.5g of the illicit substance and of using 0.5g of it five separate times with his ex-fiancée Hwang Hana.
After testing positive, Park Yu Chun's lawyer stated, "The results of the National Forensic Service cannot be denied. However, Park Yu Chun's stance that he did not do drugs remains unchanged."

The lawyer further added that they are looking into how Philopon (a form of meth) entered his system and was detected by the test.

The court's ruling is expected in the evening.
