K-pop boy group TVXQ!'s leader U-KNOW Yunho is seeking his own protege.

On October 29, the production team of MBC's survival audition program 'Unter Nineteen' announced that U-KNOW Yunho will join the program as a special director.

The production team stated, "As TVXQ! is known as the legend of K-pop and has a reputation for being the best performance group of all time, we believe that U-KNOW Yunho will be a great addition to our team since he is amazing at giving pep talks and could walk them through the true meaning of passion."
During the shooting, U-KNOW Yunho paid a visit to the contestants' rehearsals and gave a few pointers on their performance based on his 15 years of experience and helped them take their performance to the next level.
The production team mentioned that U-KNOW Yunho even paid attention to minor details such as the contestants' facial expression and dance moves and gave out a pretty meticulous feedback.
The source added, "After watching the contestants' stage, U-KNOW Yunho expressed great expectation for the next generation leaders of K-pop and spoke highly of their performance."

U-KNOW Yunho made his debut in December 2003 and received incessant love and support from the public thanks to his stellar performance, many years of experience in the field, and his appearance in the variety show which gave birth to his hilarious nickname 'Mr. Passion'.
With the help of two vocal directors (Crush and EXID's SOLJI), two rap directors (Dynamic Duo's Gaeko and Choiza), one performance director (Super Junior's EunHyuk), and the host of the show actress Kim So Hyun―'Under Nineteen' is planning on picking the best from each field (Vocal, Rap, Performance) and launch a boy group withe the winners of each part.
'Under Nineteen' is scheduled to be aired on November 3 at 6PM KST.
