K-pop artist Paul Kim recently shared about how his label received threats from another agency.
On July 4, Paul Kim uploaded a post on his social media account recalling what occurred between the agency and his label, Neuron Music.

He explained he had received a request to record an OST that he had to be completed by the end of this month.
However, as he already had a full schedule due to his concerts, his agency refused the request.

According to Paul Kim, the head of the agency then called one of his label's staff and said, "I've been in this industry for 25 years. How long have you been a manager? Is there anyone that knows who you are?".
He continued, "He threatened us to an unbelievable extent. It's not just simple power tripping, and I can't believe he threatened a person's career and livelihood like that. You only know who you are, and I hope you to live your life more carefully from now on."
Then he concluded, "My label and people around me said that it's not a good idea to upload something as emotional as this. But I did nothing wrong and was treated badly, so why do I have to hide what I feel? If people like me can't speak up and being forced to hide it, then how many more people have to live life unfairly? I can't live like that. It's so unfair, and I'm angry."

Debuted in 2014, Paul Kim gained popularity after recording various drama sound tracks including 'Every day, Every Moment' for SBS' 'Should We Kiss First?' and 'Flower Rain' for KBS' 'Black Knight'.
