A member of a disbanded K-pop boy group MBLAQ's G.O says it is true that some idol members end up together after filming MBC's holiday special variety show 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships'.

Recently, G.O delivered a heartbreaking fact to all K-pop fans.

During a recent live stream session, G.O answered a fan's question who asked him whether if it is true that idol group members end up dating after filming 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships' together.First, G.O explained what it is like to film 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships'.

He explained, "So, the shooting for the show lasts about 20 hours. As you know, lots of different games are played on the day. That means idol members would spend more time sitting down and watching the games than actually playing the game."Then, G.O moved on, "As they all sit close to each other, it is hard not to talk to one another. The conversation naturally starts between different idol members even if they are not in the same group."

He continued, "They are basically locked up in the same place for 20 hours. The circumstance kind of makes them become closer. I believe this is not only true for celebrities, but for anyone."

He concluded, "If they get on well, then they will ask for a phone number. Sometimes, they end up dating each other."In the past, several idol members, including HYERI from girl group GIRL'S DAY and Jaekyung from another girl group RAINBOW have mentioned that 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships' is a place where a romantic relationship easily begins, and it is where idol couples are sometimes seen making a physical contact with each other behind camera and fans.Many fans are feeling heartbroken to hear G.O's story, and have been making comments such as, "This is obvious, but why am I crying?", "Gosh, I hate 'The Idol Star Athletics Championships'. When is it going to discontinue?", "I really hope this is not the case for my oppa.", and so on.
