On May 30, Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment released a video on its official social media account with the comment, saying, "Park Bo Gum joined the '2018 Ice Bucket Challenge'."

His agency continued, "We hope Park Bo Gum's participation in the campaign brings support for the ALS patients. We sincerely wish people give support to them."The ice bucket challenge is one of the representative campaigns for the ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) patients.

The campaign that films a person dumping over a bucket of water and ice over the individual's head promotes an awareness of the disease.

From the released video, Park Bo Gum says, "Thank you so much for my senior SEAN to let me join this meaningful campaign."He continues, saying, "In order to construct the first domestic medical hospital for the ALS patients, we need your support. Please take a look at the campaign and give support to the patients and their families."

Park Bo Gum notes, "I want actor Kwak Dong Yeon, Yeo Jin Goo, and Lee Jun Hyuk to join the campaign as well.", and he dumps a bucket of water over his head.The campaign was started by SEAN from hip-hop group JINUSEAN to support the construction of the medical hospital for the ALS patients since May 29 and has been rapidly spread online.
