K-pop girl group Girls' Generation's Taeyeon admitted her fault in a car accident. 

On December 2, Taeyeon was summoned to the Gangnam Police Station and revealed, "I couldn't see the road in front of me while I was driving, so I got into a car accident."  

Earlier on November 28, Taeyeon's car rear-ended a taxi which was waiting for the signal, and the taxi crashed into another Audi vehicle causing the three-car-rear-end collision. 
Taeyeon also stated she is currently working with insurance companies to compensate the victims for the damages caused, and that she is trying her best to ensure a fast recovery and compensation. 

The singer also clarified the doubt about her dog causing the accident, Taeyeon said, "It is unrelated to the cause of the accident." 
The case is most likely close with no prosecutions after the investigation in concluded as the cause of the accident does not fall under the category of the '11 types of gross negligence' under the Act on Special Cases concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents and the accident is being covered through comprehensive insurance.
