K-pop rookie group Wanna One's Kang Daniel injured his finger while promoting the group's debut song 'Energetic'. 

On August 18, Wanna One's management agency YMC Entertainment stated that Kang Daniel will get cast for his right thumb injury.

A representative from the agency stated, "Kang Daniel has previously been suffered pain in his thumb since his b-boying days in the past. Since he started to feel the pain again last night, a manager took him to a hospital this morning."

He also added, "Kang Daniel says he's okay, but the doctor advised him to wear cast for three to seven days to avoid pain."
The agency also stated that the choreography for future performances will be adjusted in order to prevent potential injuries of the members.
Currently, Wanna One is actively promoting their debut title track 'Energetic' and sub-title track 'Burn It Up' on various music shows.
