Korean singer IU and her management agency officially announced that the 1st generation of IU's official fan club 'Uaena(U愛나)' is ready to be established and is recruiting members.

Although it has been already 10 years after IU made her debut in 2008, she did not have official fan club.
However, under the name called 'Uaena', IU and her fans were keeping in touch through fan meetings and various events.

Beyond the meeting between a singer and its fans, they also made some social activities and voluntary activities.
Thus, as for celebration of IU's 10th anniversary of debut and how IU and her fans have interacted without an official fan club, IU's management agency FAVE Entertainment decided to create an official fan club.

The official fan club's 1st generation recruitment starts from July 17th to August 6th and it will include fans not only in Korea but also from all around the world
