On the June 8 broadcast of SBS's 'uh, but like, seriously!', Jin Seon-kyu and Kim Ji-seok visited Lee Su-ji's boarding house.
During the broadcast, Kim Ji-seok, who mentioned he is one of three brothers, spoke about his oldest brother. Revealing that his brother was accepted into Oxford University, Kim Ji-seok surprised everyone by sharing, "He graduated at the top of his class in Oxford's mathematics department."
The show then revealed a past clip of Kim Ji-seok talking with his oldest brother on another program. In the past, Kim Ji-seok had playfully exposed his brother, saying, "You only got one question wrong in Korean, English, and math during all three years of middle school. And you placed fourth in a math competition in the UK."
Kim Ji-seok had also shared that his inferiority complex started back then, stating, "I realized I couldn't make it through academics, so I dreamed of becoming an actor."
Kim Ji-seok went on to explain, "My oldest brother graduated from KAIST's finance department." Hearing this, Lee Sang-min expressed disbelief, asking, "If your brother graduated from KAIST's finance department, why are you getting investment tips and investing based on someone like him (Boom)?"
Kim Ji-seok then revealed why he turned to Boom's advice instead of his brother's: "When my brother joined a financial firm in Hong Kong, I once asked him what I should buy. But he drew a line, saying, 'Don't ask me things like that.' He told me that even between family members, those things cannot be shared. Especially back then, since he was a new recruit, he had received very strict training on regulations. His reaction was so shocking to me that I have never asked him since."
Lee Sang-min then asked, "But did Kim Ji-seok graduate from college?" to which Tak Jae-hoon scolded him, saying, "Then did you think he went to a cyber university?" drawing laughter.
However, hearing this, Boom flustered Tak Jae-hoon by chiming in, "I graduated from a cyber university. I didn't even get to see my professors' faces."
Kim Ji-seok also sparked curiosity on this day by sharing about his younger brother, "My younger brother beat 1-in-10,000 odds."
He began, "While my father was away on a business trip for several months, my mother got pregnant. But the thing is, my father had already had a vasectomy." Hearing this, Tak Jae-hoon joked, "Let's save this kind of family history for my YouTube channel," bringing down the house.
Kim Ji-seok explained, "My parents were so flustered, but it turned out my father's vasectomy had reversed itself," adding, "The youngest is a blessed child who beat 1-in-10,000 odds," which caught everyone's attention.
Also on this day, Kim Ji-seok surprised everyone by sharing his obsession with slow aging: "A university study showed that biological aging spikes occur at ages 34, 44, and 60. I've already passed 44. Since anti-aging is impossible, I decided to focus on well-aging. So, I completely cut out flour."
He revealed his secret to maintaining a youthful appearance, saying, "I also cut down my coffee to one cup a day and completely stopped eating instant ramen, tteokbokki, and fried foods."
Meanwhile, at the end of the broadcast, a preview of Tiffany, Kim Ye-won, and ILLIT's upcoming appearances was shown, raising anticipation for the next episode.
