The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education announced on November 6 that it has signed a business agreement with the regional branch of the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to advance artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity education.

Under the agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate to improve AI and cybersecurity education, helping students develop the competency to utilize technology safely and responsibly.

Key areas of cooperation include operating specialized white-hat hacker education programs for the Incheon region based on "Read, Walk, Write (Ilgutseu) AI," organizing hands-on AI cybersecurity experiential events for students, and fostering exchanges and collaboration for career exploration and talent development in the cybersecurity field.

This agreement was arranged as a follow-up to an event on September 17, when 23 high school students from Incheon participated in the "White-Hat Hacker Academy" at the international cybersecurity event "CSK2026," hosted by the National Intelligence Service at COEX in Seoul.

Superintendent Do Sung-hoon stated, "In the AI era, the ability to use technology safely and responsibly is just as important as the ability to use it. I hope that through this agreement, Incheon students will grow into future talents equipped with both AI utilization and cybersecurity competencies based on 'Read, Walk, Write AI'."
