A large water pipe burst near Poi Intersection in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, at around 7:00 a.m. today (November 4), leading to partial road closures and ongoing repair work.

Authorities reported that the diameter of the ruptured water pipe is approximately 1.8 meters.

As water continued to leak, one side of the road near the accident site was restricted, causing traffic congestion.

An official from the Seoul Metropolitan Government stated, "The pipe appears to have burst due to aging," adding, "Repair work is expected to continue until tomorrow night."
