A professor in the Department of Psychiatry was injured in a weapon attack at Sinchon Severance Hospital in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
The Seodaemun Police Station announced that they arrested a suspect on charges of special injury after the individual stabbed a psychiatry professor with a weapon at Sinchon Severance Hospital in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, at around 4:30 p.m. today (November 4).
The doctor who was stabbed suffered a laceration about 5 centimeters long and was moved to the emergency room for treatment.
The suspect, estimated to be in their 50s, was reportedly not a patient waiting for treatment at the time.
Police are investigating the suspect to determine the specific motive and circumstances surrounding the crime.
