The film "Heart of the Beast," starring Brad Pitt, has held the top spot at the box office for two consecutive days.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets on November 4, "Heart of the Beast" drew 17,286 moviegoers nationwide on November 3. Its cumulative audience count stands at 253,386.
"Heart of the Beast" is an adventure survival drama depicting the fierce struggle of James (Brad Pitt), a former Army Special Forces operative stranded in the remote Alaskan wilderness following a plane crash, and his retired military dog Odin, as they rely solely on each other amid the constant threat of death.
After finishing its opening weekend in second place, "Heart of the Beast" climbed to the top of the box office starting Monday of its second week. The film took the lead as "Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island," entering its fifth week since release, began experiencing a downward trend in attendance. However, with movie theaters entering an off-peak season, the daily admissions for the No. 1 film have failed to reach even 20,000, leaving its box office outlook less than bright.
