Cheong Wa Dae Holds Emergency Meeting on Personal Info Leak of Presidential Overseas Delegation, Calls for Thorough Investigation

Cheong Wa Dae held an emergency meeting presided over by Presidential Chief of Staff Im Gwang-hyeon to discuss countermeasures regarding the leak of personal information of the overseas delegation, including President Lee Jae-myung and the First Lady, members of the State Council, and Cheong Wa Dae officials.

During the meeting, Chief of Staff Im emphasized that the circumstances of the leak must be thoroughly investigated and the management responsibilities of the relevant agencies must be clearly identified.

Cheong Wa Dae stated that Im also requested relevant agencies to comprehensively review the security management system for presidential overseas visits and come up with effective measures to prevent recurrence.
