Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, is set to begin supplying land for the Ilsan Techno Valley project, starting with a public notice for the sale of high-tech manufacturing facility plots on the 9th.

With this land release, the city aims to channel corporate relocation and expansion demands into Ilsan Techno Valley, unlocking new potential for a city where businesses and talent grow together.

Ilsan Techno Valley is a high-tech industrial hub spanning approximately 870,000 square meters (about 260,000 pyeong) in the areas of Daehwa-dong and Beobgot-dong in Ilsanseo-gu.

The complex will be developed as a space where corporate and research-and-development functions harmonize, focusing on sectors such as bio-health and media-content.

The project is jointly promoted by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Corporation (GH), and Goyang City Urban Management Corporation, with the goal of completing site development by the end of next year.

Ilsan Techno Valley is recognized for its strong advantage of being located close to Seoul.

Wide-area transportation networks, including GTX-A, Jayu-ro, and the Second Jayu-ro, support business activities and workforce mobility across the capital area.

In addition, the project can leverage Goyang City's medical and research infrastructure alongside exhibition and cultural resources.

Drawing on medical and research foundations such as the National Cancer Center and Dongguk University, businesses can explore cooperation opportunities in the bio and medical fields.

The exhibition and networking functions of KINTEX, as well as the industrial base in the media and content sectors, can also be utilized to promote technologies and products and expand business opportunities.

Living conditions are also exceptional.

The city plans to present industrial spaces for companies alongside residential and living conditions for talent, ensuring that corporate location choices lead to the stable settlement of employees.

The city plans to provide information on land prices and support systems simultaneously to help companies formulate investment plans tailored to the scale of their business.

A representative form of support designed to lower initial investment burdens is the location subsidy for land acquisition.

Companies purchasing 3,300 square meters or more of industrial facility land in Ilsan Techno Valley will receive up to 800,000 won per pyeong, subject to relevant support requirements and within budgetary limits.

In addition to location subsidies, eligible companies satisfying certain requirements can receive tax reductions, such as acquisition and property tax exemptions, as well as employment and training subsidies.

The city plans to guide companies through available benefits tailored to their respective plot requirements and investment plans, connecting step-by-step support from land purchase and facility construction to post-move-in operations.

Goyang Mayor Min Kyung-sen emphasized, "We will support every stage from corporate investment review to relocation and settlement, and actively reach out to attract investments."
