A song created using artificial intelligence has drawn attention by climbing to the top tiers of domestic music charts.
Released last June, the song "Did You Become the Adult You Dreamed Of?" by Meomureu recently reached number two on Melon's Top 100 chart.
It gained popularity by being used as background music on social media, and its ranking has risen steadily following a chart resurgence last September.
"Did You Become the Adult You Dreamed Of?" is a song that depicts the worries and anxieties faced after becoming an adult, as well as the gap between the image dreamed of in childhood and reality.
While the melody and vocals utilized AI, the artist Meomureu is known to have handled the lyrics and producing directly.
Regarding this, opinions are divided: some express that "it is touching even though a machine made it," while others respond that "it is reluctant to listen to because it is AI."
