Sprinting flat-out in the red jersey of Premier League club Arsenal is KT pitcher Ko Young-pyo.

Running as the anchor for the parents' relay at his son Chamin's kindergarten sports day, he showed the composure to high-five people mid-run while using his overwhelming speed to lead the Red Team to a come-from-behind victory.

[Ko Young-pyo / KT Pitcher: Before being an athlete, I participated as a father, so I think I took it very seriously. My son's reaction wasn't like, "Wow, Dad, you did great!" It was more like, "Well, you should at least be able to do that as a baseline..."]

Having delivered the taste of victory to his son, Ko Young-pyo is now preparing for the moment of a Korean Series championship for the first time in 5 years.

After completing a live pitching session last week, he wrapped up his final checkup on the 28th by throwing 60 pitches over 5 scoreless innings in a practice game.

[Ko Young-pyo / KT Pitcher: Having rested after finishing the regular season, my body has a lot of stored energy, and since I'm taking on the role of a key starter, I think I ultimately need to deliver a strong performance in the Korean Series.]

Likely to start Game 2, Ko Young-pyo is determined to recreate the moment from October 5, when he ran across the field and shared the emotion with home fans after securing the regular season title.

[Ko Young-pyo / KT Pitcher: I hope to share the joy of winning together with the home fans. I think that's the single image I envision.]
