Legendary duo Lee Seo-jin and Ha Jiwon, who led the "Damo" syndrome, reunited after 23 years to create a subtle romantic atmosphere.
On the upcoming episode of the SBS entertainment program "My Genie Secretary" (hereinafter "My Genie Secretary"), airing at 11:10 p.m. on Friday, October 30, actor Ha Jiwon will appear as a "my star" for a special meeting with Lee Seo-jin.
Having received explosive love when the show aired in 2003, coining the term "Damo fanatics," the two met again on television for the first time in 23 years thanks to enthusiastic requests from viewers, sharing a welcoming hug.
In particular, the reversed dynamic—where Lee Seo-jin, once the "lord inspector," now serves as a "secretary" attending to Ha Jiwon—promises unique entertainment. Upon seeing Ha Jiwon, Lee Seo-jin flashed a dimpled smile and went straight in with a confession, saying, "You look prettier now," filling the surroundings with excitement.
The episode will also feature a flood of vivid behind-the-scenes stories, including a heart-pounding moment when they were stranded in heavy snow at Daegwallyeong mountain lodge, the original filming location for "Damo," and the birth story behind the legendary famous line, "Are you hurting? I am hurting, too."
In addition, Ha Jiwon, who has acted alongside top actors such as Hyun Bin, Zo In-sung, and Lee Seo-jin, will personally reveal her "best co-star." Curiosity is building over who the single actor will be that Ha Jiwon chooses in front of Lee Seo-jin, who secretly holds high expectations.
The delightful and heart-fluttering reunion of the "Damo couple," Lee Seo-jin and Ha Jiwon, completed after 23 years, will be revealed on "My Genie Secretary," airing at 11:10 p.m. on Friday, October 30.
