The Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) professional basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating DB in overtime, moving up to a tie for fifth place.
KOGAS had victory within reach, but allowed DB's Hammond to score the tying basket, forcing the game into overtime.
Player Choi Seung-wook shined brightly as the hero of overtime.
Choi, who fulfilled his role in defense and rebounding throughout the game, ignited the offense with a turnaround three-pointer while trailing by one point. He scored 9 points in overtime alone, and particularly fended off the opponent's pursuit with four consecutive points in the closing moments when leading by a narrow 1-point margin.
Winning by a 5-point margin, KOGAS broke its two-game slump and joined LG and Sono in a tie for fifth place.
