Actor Go Soo is returning to the romance genre after 15 years, showcasing an unrivaled suit look and charisma.
On October 28, the team behind SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine to Six" (written by Choi Ji-o, directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee), which premieres on Wednesday, November 25, released character stills of Park Hyun-tae (played by Go Soo), a new head of division dispatched to automaker Chronic Motors Korea.
"Nine to Six" is an on-and-off work-life balance romance drama about a rational woman who has spent her life proving herself through work, and meets a warm and emotional man to rewrite the standards of work, love, and happiness.
Park Hyun-tae, played by Go Soo, is a 100% rational department head who evaluates employees strictly based on ability and performance, possessing an exceptional eye for recognizing the value of competent staff. In particular, prospective viewers are eagerly anticipating this project as it marks Go Soo's return to romance after 15 years.
In the released stills, Go Soo clearly displays the demeanor of an executive who prioritizes work above all else, checking his tasks on a tablet PC even inside an airplane.
What captures the eye most of all is Go Soo's sophisticated suit styling. While unbuttoning his shirt creates a relaxed vibe, the tasteful styling accentuates the refinement and class befitting an elite executive.
Furthermore, his deep gaze and charisma as he looks at the other person convey a steady weight even within a gentle atmosphere, enhancing the character's multi-dimensional appeal. Attention from prospective viewers is focused on Go Soo's acting transformation as he seamlessly shifts between ease and cool-headedness.
SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Nine to Six" premieres on Wednesday, November 25, at 9 p.m.
