The Incheon Metropolitan Government announced today (the 27th) that it has selected Animotiontech as Incheon's "Most Beautiful Factory" for this year.
Animotiontech is a specialized company in laser application equipment and ultra-precision motion control, developing and supplying precision equipment and automation systems applied to cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors and displays.
Located in the Songdo Knowledge and Information Industrial Complex, the company's factory has introduced eco-friendly elements such as solar power facilities and rooftop greening, while also being equipped with a workspace utilizing natural lighting, a rooftop garden, and worker welfare facilities including a gym.
To raise awareness of industrial facilities and encourage companies to voluntarily improve their working environments, the city of Incheon has been selecting and awarding beautiful factories every year since 2016, choosing a total of 24 companies up until last year.
This year, 12 companies were recommended and applied, undergoing document and on-site evaluations by a panel of expert judges.
Kim Sung-jung, Incheon's Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs, said, "We will spread these best practices across Incheon's industrial complexes to create spaces where young people want to work."
