Girl group RESCENE, who are active as public relations ambassadors for Geoje City, South Gyeongsang Province, have received honorary citizenship of Geoje.
On the 24th, the members of RESCENE became the first celebrities to be named honorary citizens of Geoje.
Geoje City explained that RESCENE was selected as honorary citizens in recognition of their contributions to boosting citizens' pride through consistent promotional activities and publicizing Geoje as an attractive tourism city.
Geoje is the hometown of member WONI and the starting point of the catchphrase "Geoje Yoo-ho," which introduced RESCENE to the general public.
Since being appointed as public relations ambassadors for Geoje City last May, RESCENE has participated in various activities to promote the charm of Geoje.
