The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it will sign an agreement tomorrow (October 22) with Shinhan Bank and ChildFund Korea to link children's meal cards with delivery apps and provide delivery fee support.

Under the agreement, starting November 16, users will be able to order and pay for food using children's meal cards on the public delivery app Ddangyo.

Users can navigate to the Ddangyo menu within the Shinhan Super SOL app, register their card, and order from approximately 20,000 affiliated restaurants marked with a "Children's Meal" label within the app.

Along with the introduction of the delivery service, two delivery fee coupons worth 3,000 won each will be provided monthly to ease the burden of delivery costs.

In consideration of minimum delivery order amounts, the daily usage limit for children's meal cards is also planned to be raised from the current 30,000 won to 50,000 won.

Ma Chae-sook, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Women and Family Affairs Office, said, "We expect that the new delivery service will allow children to more conveniently choose the food they want to eat, and that the delivery fee coupons and increased usage limit will significantly ease the burden of meal costs." She added, "We will continue to improve the system from children's perspectives to ensure that all children can have healthy meals without worry."
