Actor Anne Hathaway lit up the red carpet with her baby bump.
Hathaway recently attended the New York premiere of the film "Verity." The event was also attended by Dakota Johnson, Josh Hartnett, director Michael Showalter, and author Colleen Hoover.
Amid a red-lit red carpet packed with press and fans, Hathaway received the biggest cheers. Stepping onto the red carpet with her baby bump, she stood before the cameras in a black dress. She posed at the photo wall, waved to fans, and personally fulfilled autograph requests from fans holding posters. She also stayed until the end of the interview session to introduce the film herself.
For Hathaway, "Verity" is more than just a project she starred in. She fell so deeply in love with the original novel that she finished reading it in one sitting, and she participated not only as an actor but also as a producer. Having been involved since the planning stages, she spared no effort in promotional activities ahead of the release. Even while expecting her child, she completed all premiere schedules with fierce passion.
"Verity" is a high-stimulus thriller about Rowan (Dakota Johnson), a ghostwriter who enters the grand mansion of bestselling author Verity (Anne Hathaway)—who can no longer walk or speak due to an accident—to complete her unfinished novel, only to discover Verity's hidden autobiography manuscript and fall into an uncontrollable vortex upon facing the secrets of Verity and her husband. It is set to be released domestically on October 22.
