New Hanwha Eagles manager Ryu Ji-hyun has officially taken office.
He expressed his ambition to build a strong team that Hanwha fans can feel proud of.
Sporting an orange tie, representing Hanwha's team color, the newly appointed manager Ryu stepped onto the Daejeon ballpark field.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ryu smiled brightly while wearing the new uniform and cap, as team captain Chae Eun-seong and pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin welcomed him with bouquets.
Let's hear his aspirations.
[Ryu Ji-hyun / Manager, Hanwha Eagles: The Hanwha Eagles currently show quite a few gaps. I believe that if we fill them one by one, we can build a consistently strong team. I will create an environment where you can truly feel a sense of pride when you shout, 'The strongest Hanwha!']
Showing strong enthusiasm by stating that he will lead training starting tomorrow (October 17), Manager Ryu will kick off full-scale preparations at the autumn finishing camp in Miyazaki, Japan, later this month.
