Pre-salted Cabbage Discounted by 20,000 Won per Box… Reservations Begin at Major Supermarkets

The weather has grown quite chilly.

With the kimchi-making season approaching soon, major supermarkets are taking reservations for pre-salted cabbage and offering discount sales.

A 20kg box of pre-salted cabbage, with a regular price of 49,800 won, can be purchased for 29,800 won, reflecting a 20,000 won discount.

Reservations can be made starting today (October 15) through October 28 via the dedicated app, and customers can pick up their orders at stores on their desired date between November 13 and December 12.

The total volume of regular pre-salted cabbage prepared this year is 75,000 boxes, an increase of more than 15,000 boxes compared to last year.

Kimchi seasoning, salted ponytail radishes (altari), and convenient kimchi-making kits will also be sold at discounted prices.
